Looking for plans this New Year’s Eve Dinner in Philadelphia? Look no further as we have it covered for you. Join us and enjoy our New Year’s Eve prix fixe menu, featuring Latin classics with the special Mixto’s touch.
This menu includes dishes from Spain, Latin America, and Cuban such as the “Pollo al Chilindrón”, “Chuletas de Cerdo”, “Veracruz-style Branzino” and “Mar y Tierra”. Our chef, Jonathan Viruet, will cook a three-course for New Year’s Eve, which is going to be served from 4p.m. to 9 p.m. and includes a free glass of wine or a small bottle of sparkling.
If you decide to stick to Mixto’s classics, we will be serving our full menu as well.

Appetizer/Aperitivos
Scallops with Tropical Salsa
Pan seared scallops with mango, pineapples, cucumbers, red bell peppers, lime juice, cilantro, and jalapeño.
Reina Pepiada (Arepa)
Cornmeal patty stuffed with chicken and avocado
Spicy Coconut Shrimp Bisque
Spicy cream with shrimp and vegetables
Entrées/Entradas
Pollo al Chilindrón
Spanish-style spicy chicken with tomatoes, red bell peppers and onions
served with risotto.
Chuletas de Cerdo
Pan-seared pork chops (2), topped with sautéed cherry tomatoes, onions and feta cheese, accompanied by sweet plantains, and pigeon-peas rice.
Veracruz-Style Branzino
Pan-seared Branzino, topped with onions, capers, cherry tomatoes and jalapeño, accompanied by sautéed potatoes, carrots and broccoli.
Mar y Tierra
Grilled and stuffed skirt steak, topped with a creamy garlic sauce and lobster meat,
served with mofongo.
Dessert/Postres
Caribbean Banana Custard
Banana pudding topped with berries and drizzled with caramel syrup.
Brownie a la Mode
Hot brownie served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, drizzled with chocolate syrup.
